The L. E. Smith Glass Company is one of the few handmade glass manufacturers still in existence in the United States. They specialize in light shades and giftware. Tours of the factory run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The Factory Outlet and Giftware Store is open Monday through Saturday, 9-5, and Sunday 12-5. (Closed weekends in January, February, and March and on national holidays.) The Factory Outlet store offers a large selection of seconds, discontinued merchandise, factory samples, and test products, all at up to 70% off normal retail prices.

Exit 9 (Donegal) of the PA Turnpike, turn right on Route 31 West to Mt. Pleasant. The tours begin and end at the factory outlet store, which is located at 1900 Liberty Street off Main Street (Rt 31) in Mt. Pleasant.
Youghiogheny Station is a restored P&LE Railroad Passenger Station, filled with original Mission Oak furniture. The Chief’s Gallery sells art glass from Lundberg Studios, Charles Lotton, Steve Fenstermacher, and other artists. The station’s back room sells glass sheets from Youghiogheny Opalescent Glass Company. They offer classes in stained glass crafting.

Exit 8 (New Stanton) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Look for the sign for 119S-Connellsville. On 119S proceed into Connellsville, cross the Youghiogheny River, and take the first left at the light. They are located at 900 West Crawford Avenue in downtown Connellsville.
Mountain Horse Saddlery is the largest supplier of saddles, tack, and horse-related supplies in Southwestern Pennsylvania. They have complete lines of Western, English, Australian, and Trail Riding Equipment. They are a full-service Purina feeds dealer, stocking feeds for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals. They also have many gift items for the horse-lover, including signs, art, statuary, and clothing.
